Context Sensitive Stylesheets for Scene Graphs

چکیده
Augmented Reality (AR) enables users to visualize synthetic information overlaid on a real video stream. Such visualization is achieved by tools that vary depending on the underlying data or the task at hand. While some tools distort, filter or enhance the explored information little or no work has focused on the separation of style definitions and their mapping to scene objects. We target this separation based on a context rich scenegraph. Our research allows the definition of visualization tools independent on the data to be visualized or the application that will use them. We show how contextual information may add another hierarchical dimension to scene objects, and how this may in turn be used by hierarchical style definitions –not unlike those of Cascading Stylesheets. We compare differences with previous work, we show a complex application example and we discuss the contribution of our work to AR. Index terms – Augmented Reality, Information filtering,

GraphML Transformation
GraphML (Graph Markup Language) is an XML-based language for the description of network data. It is intended as a simple, extensible and general file format for archiving arbitrary graphs with arbitrary additional data. This thesis investigates GraphML processing specified by XSLT stylesheets. After an introduction into GraphML and XSLT, various use cases show that XSLT is able – as a stand-alo...
متن کاملA particle swarm optimization algorithm for minimization analysis of cost-sensitive attack graphs
To prevent an exploit, the security analyst must implement a suitable countermeasure. In this paper, we consider cost-sensitive attack graphs (CAGs) for network vulnerability analysis. In these attack graphs, a weight is assigned to each countermeasure to represent the cost of its implementation. There may be multiple countermeasures with different weights for preventing a single exploit. Also,...
متن کاملNeural Motifs: Scene Graph Parsing with Global Context
We investigate the problem of producing structured graph representations of visual scenes. Our work analyzes the role of motifs: regularly appearing substructures in scene graphs. We present new quantitative insights on such repeated structures in the Visual Genome dataset. Our analysis shows that object labels are highly predictive of relation labels but not vice-versa. We also find there are ...
متن کاملInferring Context through Scene Understanding
In this work we propose the application of scene understanding methods using probabilistic graphs to the problem of learning and representing computational context. Many machine learning methods treat their input space as a ’bag of features’; that is, inference is accomplished by taking some global aggregation which may be engineered or learned. A limitation of this approach is that many models...
متن کاملContextual Graph Grammars Characterising Rational Graphs
Deterministic graph grammars generate a family of infinite graphs which characterise contextfree (word) languages. The present paper introduces a context-sensitive extension of these grammars. We prove that this extension characterises rational graphs (whose traces are contextsensitive languages). We illustrate that this extension is not straightforward: the most obvious context-sensitive graph...
